babies boom to the 21st century

I recently had a conversation with my friends 50 year old uncle who I will name, "Bob." He was amazed at how technology has improved as he admired our smart phones, like Apple's iPhones.During our conversation Bob asks if there was a way to directly transfer music from our phone to his "original" iPod. As we explained how it can't be easily be done I remembered the blog I posted earlier, "iPhone Haters," and compared their comments because I found it interesting that there are "baby boommers" who look the other way by being curiously interested and eager to learn more about the new technology of the 21st century.

  1. At least "Bob" cares enough to ask if music can be transferred to an "original" iPod. My grandparents ask questions about technology, too, and my brother and I even had to show them how to use certain aspects of their cell phones when we visited them this Easter break. I can't imagine if I will be the same in the future, or if I will actually keep up with technology as I grow older.
